YEKUMI is a live electro-ethnic duo, blending electronic music with live performances on traditional instruments like the didgeridoo and oud. Their shows are immersive journeys, transforming melodies and rhythms into powerful dance experiences that connect listeners to nature’s primal forces.

Founded by longtime friends Idan Shahar and Alon Sagi, both multidisciplinary artists and skilled instrumentalists, YEKUMI creates a unique fusion of sounds rooted in deep musical exploration.

Alon Sagi is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer specializing in ethnic music, with global performances alongside legendary jazz musicians and renowned Israeli artists.
Idan Shahar is a self-taught musician who masterfully plays instruments like the flute, nay flute, and didgeridoo, performing worldwide with ensembles such as Asphalt Theatre.
